This policy explains how personal information is handled when you visit fadismeyerland.com, contact us, or order from Fadi's Meyerland Mediterranean Grill. It has two parts, because two businesses are involved:
- Part A: Fadi's Meyerland, the restaurant. It covers your messages, orders, catering and event requests.
- Part B: Nicks Web Shop, which designs, hosts and maintains this website and delivers website messages on the restaurant's behalf.
Neither business sells your personal information.

Part AFadi's Meyerland Mediterranean Grill
A1. Who we are
Fadi's Meyerland Mediterranean Grill is a restaurant at 4738 Beechnut Street, Houston, Texas 77096. In Part A, "we" and "us" mean Fadi's Meyerland.
A2. What we collect
When you contact us. If you use one of the contact forms on our website (general questions, pickup and delivery, or catering and private dining), we receive your name, email address, phone number (if you give it), the subject you choose and your message. If you call or email us, we keep those messages and your contact details.
Catering and private dining. When you plan catering or an event with us, we also collect the details we need, such as the date, time, delivery address, number of guests, and any food allergies or dietary needs you tell us about.
Online and delivery orders. This website doesn't take orders or payments. When you order online through ChowNow, or through a delivery company such as DoorDash or Grubhub, that company collects your name, contact details, delivery address and payment details under its own privacy policy, and sends us the details we need to prepare your order. We don't receive your full card number.
When you visit our website. We use Google Analytics to see how visitors use our website, such as which pages are viewed and roughly where visits come from. See A4. Cookies.
A3. How we use it
We use your information to answer your questions, prepare your orders, plan your catering or event, take care of any allergy or dietary needs you tell us about, respond to feedback, and improve our restaurant and website.
We don't add you to a mailing list or send you promotions because you contacted us. If we ever start a newsletter or text messages, we'll update this policy first, and you'll be able to stop them at any time.
A4. Cookies
Cookies are small files your browser stores. Our website uses Google Analytics, which uses cookies and collects information such as your browser type, device and the pages you visit. It doesn't tell us your name. When you click "Got it" on our cookie notice, one more small cookie remembers that for a year so the notice doesn't keep appearing. Our website also loads its fonts and some of its code from Google, which means your browser connects to Google's servers.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's opt-out browser add-on (opens in a new tab). Blocking cookies won't stop our website from working.
A5. Who we share it with
We don't sell or rent your personal information. We share it only when it's needed to serve you or run our restaurant:
- With our staff who need it to answer you or prepare your order
- With the ordering and delivery companies you choose to order through, to complete your order
- With the companies that help us run our business, such as our email and phone providers, and Nicks Web Shop, which runs our website (see Part B)
- When the law requires it
A6. How long we keep it
We keep messages, emails and order and catering records as long as we need them to serve you and for our business, tax and accounting records.
A7. Your choices
You can ask us to show you the personal information we have about you, correct it, or delete it, and we'll respond within 30 days. We may need to keep some order and payment records for tax reasons.
A8. Children
Our website is meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Part BNicks Web Shop
B1. Who we are
Nicks Web Shop designs, builds, hosts and maintains this website for Fadi's Meyerland. We don't prepare food, take orders or handle payments. In Part B, "we" and "us" mean Nicks Web Shop.
B2. Messages sent through this website
When you send a message through one of the contact forms on this website, we pass it to Fadi's Meyerland on their behalf by emailing it to them, and a copy of that email comes to us. We also keep a copy of what you typed and your device's IP address (its internet address) on our servers, so a message isn't lost if an email goes astray and so we can block spam.
We may look at these messages to block spam, fix problems with the website, and help Fadi's Meyerland handle website inquiries and improve its website. We don't use them for anything else, such as marketing, and we never sell them. We keep the copies for as long as Fadi's Meyerland uses our service, unless the restaurant or you ask us to delete them sooner.
B3. Visit records
When you open a page on this website, our server records your device's IP address, the page you opened, the page or link you came from, any tracking code in the link (for example from one of the restaurant's QR codes), and the date and time. We use these records to count visits, see which links and QR codes bring visitors to the website, and protect the website from abuse. We keep them for as long as Fadi's Meyerland uses our service.
B4. Hosting and website tools
This website is hosted by SiteGround. Like most web hosts, its servers keep standard technical records, such as IP addresses, browser types and the pages requested, to keep the website running and secure. We also set up Google Analytics and Google Fonts for the restaurant, as described in A4. Cookies.
B5. Who we share it with
We share website messages only with Fadi's Meyerland and with the companies that host the website and deliver its email. They may use the messages only to provide those services. We may also share information if the law requires it.
B6. How we protect it
This website uses SSL (HTTPS) encryption, and we limit access to stored messages and records to the people who need it. No method of storing or sending information online is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect yours.
B7. Your choices
To see or delete a message you sent through this website, email Fadi's Meyerland (see A9) or Nicks Web Shop at info@nickswebshop.com. We'll respond within 30 days. How we handle information on our own website is explained in the Nicks Web Shop Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab).
